Mossberg 500 c barrel issue, and question.?

Quick question, just picked up a slightly used mossy 500 c with a 28 in barrel and I'm planning on bringing it to the range next weekend, but this morning I noticed something about the barrel. Since I bought the gun used I wanted to give it a quick cleaning before I put it away, so I removed the barrel cleaned her up and put it back together, super routine (I learned how to shoot and break down this same model as well as the remington 870 when I was ten years old and have been doing it since- so I'm sure I didnt make an error putting the barrel back on). But, I was looking over the gun once I had it back together and I noticed the grooves at the top of receiver did not exactly line up with the grooves at the top of the barrel -Its as if the barrel is turned ever so slightly to the left when locked into the receiver if I'm looking down from butt to muzzle. Honestly, if I hadn't noticed this I would have gone shooting and I'm sure everything would have been fine but now its got me thinking. I took the barrel off a few more times just to make sure it wasnt my error, and it truly wasnt, that's the way to gun goes together at its smoothest. I even took the thing outside and loaded 3 rounds into it, and they slide into the chamber nice and smooth, so no issues there. Does anyone have experience with this or any suggestions? I know its a bit nit-picky but I'd really like to not loose any fingers when I go blastin...

In Avatar-The Last Airbender, there was one episode in which the drawing style changed to pay homage to a particular artist of another anime, the name of that style is what I'm looking for. The episode was entitled "The Great Divide", and the shift in style occurs at the point that the barbarian folks tell their side of the story. The style looks simplified with very heavy outlines, the detail too is rather angular, sharp I mean; lots of sharp corners where they don't really need to be. This same style appears in "magical shopping arcade abinobashi"; the other anime the avatar folks were paying homage to. It appears for only one shot in one episode to my memory, the war arcade episode: "Resolution!! Abenobashi Battlefield Shopping Arcade". Towards the end of the episode the main characters stand over a makeshift grave and discuss going home, at one point in their conversation the drawing style shifts. A simalar style appears in the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy for a few seconds in one episode where Billy gets his eyes zaped by Grim; "My Peeps", I believe. The style as it appears in this show was very grity, same thick outlines, but specks of ink or lead could be seen on the drawing. I hope that's enough references, I just don't know what this style is called, I want to use it in a manga I'm working on, but I need more references to study to get a real feel for it, but first I need the name of the style so I can find those references. I had heard it was called "cheesecake", but all I get when I search that is girly pin up pictures, and that's not the style anyway. When i was moved to my foster home at 8 years old I was lucky if i ever got treats. We never got to eat at McDonald's (which is a child's dream) and only on special occasions were we aloud to eat treats or even just have a snack. Compressor pulley doesn't line up?

I just put a Sanden compressor on my Silverado which had a R4 compressor. The spacers they gave me with the Sanden have the compressor recessed too far back. With the belt in the proper location it hits the mounting bolts, so I just moved the belt up a grove(8 groove pulley, 6 groove belt). Is is ok to use the A/C until I have time to go to home depot and get the right amount of spacers? Belt is not squeaking or smoking, just off by 1 groove.

Hey guys, I was thinking about picking up a bass guitar! I love Bass I love the groove and everything it's just so awesome, it adds epicness to songs. I'm almost level-4 in piano and I play school cello for two years now (not an experienced player) and I can read tabs on guitar and play simple songs like "Smells Like Teen Spirit." These are the two sets of irons i'm deciding between. I have hit both indoors. I was origionaly set on the i15s, but discovered the clevelands and now like them too. What do more/less rifle barrel grooves do? What is a twist rate, and what does it do?

Rifling in the barrel causes spin on the bullet. It has a similar effect to throwing a football. The more tight the spiral on the football the farther it will go. The less spin, the more tumble. As they said before this the muskets tumbled, the football would tumble resulting in less distance. With twist rate on a rifle, i believe the higher the twist rate the more accurate the bullet will be closer. If you are shooting a far target, you want rifling, but not as much. Far targets would be about a mile. I hope i was correct and that this helps

It's honestly great. Only criticism I can give is the last paragraph. Try not to start so many sentences with I, unless the essay is opinionated and asks for a thesis statement. It's been rainy and muddy around here in my horses pasture. I've been trying to pick out her hooves even more frequently than usual to prevent thrush or other disease to the hooves. Today when I was picking out her hooves the area near the bars/seat-of-corn/white line (it was a triangular section in the groove of the hoof) started chipping when I was picking out the grooves of the bar. It was white underneath when It chipped and the white line, started getting more pronounced as I cleaned out the hoof. Alot of junk was coming out of there, but the white line continued to stay brown in color. I'm concerned. The farrier came out and trimmed them awhile back, but she's due for another trim later on this month. When the farrier came (she hadn't had REGULAR hoof care before this so I didn't know what to expect).I had to pull her shoes off myself, and I was worried that I hadn't helped her make the transition as well as I should because I wasn't experienced in those things. Her hooves were completely healthy though.. only thing the farrier had to do was trim her front toes which had gotten long. There were a few ridges in her hooves that he couldn't rasp out (too close to the coronary band). He suggested I put her on horseshoer's secret to grow the hooves out so he could rasp out the ridges quicker. He had said that she had early stages of laminitis in her hooves.. she was FAT before I got her, and has lost a considerable amount of weight, now she's in perfect shape. He said that we wouldn't have to worry about this because it was almost definitly from when she was a fatty, and there wasn't much fibery tissue there:P I have been giving her baths lately.. to sooth her from the flies and mud. She's been getting the horseshoer's secret everyday (the exact amount it says to give her) and she also gets a small scoop of safechoice horse feed with that. These amounts were all recommended by my farrier. Since it's so muddy, the grass hasn't had alot of progress.. so she still gets hay, and she picks around on shoots of grass out in the pasture too. She hasn't been ridden much lately, and now I don't know if I should ride her. She can walk/trot/canter without any noticeable problems. Could this be early signs of white line? Or am I over-reacting.. and it's just a little chipping? Trying to get the farrier on the phone.. but I was wondering what ya'll think I'm up against:/

Breast Reduction monday?!?

I don't know exactly how you feel, but my sister who is 19 got a breast reduction about a month/month and a half ago. She was a 30 EE. Same as you, very tiny, 5'3" about 120lbs. She was reduced to a big b/ small c and so far loves it. No regrets what so ever. Her scars are minimal, about an inch/2inches below the breast. One of the cons is following the surgery you cannot wear bras with underwire for quite some time, but other than that there is nothing to be worried about. Although you are still quite young and most people may tell you you'll grow into them, if you have very cold feet it could be best to wait a year or two. If your going to wait, something to take into consideration is that it is often hard to get back on the list for breast reduction (in canada) not sure about the U.S. Hope this helps!

last night around 1 am I went downtown in my city in NC, 22 black male I have an 03 Cadillac DTS heavily customized, I was leaving a party n wanted to see who was downtown, as I go downtown a bike cop comes beside me and says something I couldnt tell what he said so I slowed down and he told me to "put the f****** car in park" so I do so and he keeps yelling at me so I tell him to "calm the f*** down," as soon as I say that he says " get the f*** out of the car your going to jail" pulls open my door pulls me out of car throws cuffs on me and they start going thru my car in the middle of down town street toe my car and put me in jail, rights never read never told what charged for or anything until I got to station, where they said I was " resisting arrest, disorderly conduct , disturbing the peace, and intoxicated" when I asked him how was I intoxicated he said you looked intoxicated.. they found a small bottle from party closed in my center console when they searched and tossed around my car.. Honestly only charge I would of understood was open container but they never tested me for alcohol so how am I intoxicated? I also NEVER got an official ticket from them even when my bond was paid and I got home at 7 am.. I mean I know I shouldn't curse at a cop but I did out of I guess confusion and the way he approached me like I was a drug dealer off gate, is there anything in this case which I could fight? the bonds lady told me I cant be charged for intoxication without being tested

I've applied to atleast 10 places online and one in person (about 7 just yesterday so i havent really expected a reply yet), but i have zero experience plus im 16 so i dont even have any references... I was stupid and ordered a retainer online...?

So I had an appointment to get a retainer in about 2 weeks. Since I didn't want to wait that long I decided to use neonbrite (online retainer...company). I'm a Registered Dental Assistant so I was not worried about the impressions. I received the impression kit promptly. Took 3 good impressions and sent the most perfect one out. This is where it gets bad. On the paper it says it will take 10 business days (2 weeks) to RECEIVE the retainer. They didn't even ship it off until 3 weeks later (which is sad seeing I live 150 miles from the company). I originally placed my order May 6, and FINALLY got my order in today June 6. Also, this was no cheaper than my orthodontist. When I got my retainer in the mail it was dirty. It had white fingerprints all over it and I washed it with soap and water for a good 5 minutes to remove it. Before I put it in I saw how ugly the front looked. It didn't even look like teeth were meant to fit into the grooves. It was really pointy and the entire retainer was sloppy! So when I put it in my mouth I already knew the outcome...it didn't fit. So I called them and they said it was probably my impressions so I need to send this retainer back off to them so they can compare it to the marble and if it was indeed the impressions I'll need to start the process over. I think they chipped the marble somehow when they were making a model of my teeth from the impression, but I have a feeling I'll have to start over. :( I don't know what to do. I'm thinking about just sticking with my orthodontist and paying another $250...because this is ridiculous and I don't want my teeth to shift more. What do you think?

Hi I’m 16 years old, My girlfriend is 17, and we think that she might be pregnant. We do not know what to do if she is because she is absolutely opposed to getting an abortion and absolutely refuses, but if she doesn't, both my parents and her parents are going to kill us. How do you take off bauer inline skates' wheels?

The skates have two screws on each side and I have matching Allen wrenches that fit but when I take one screw off, the other one just spins with the grooved rod through the wheel that holds the screws. I have tried turning the screws at the same time and I've tried holding one with a wrench and taking the other screw off like that and neither works. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Here's my story. I just became a lifeguard this summer in a little rinky dink town; no body ever goes to the pool and if they do all we do is baby sit. I want to be a lifeguard in NY at the beach next summer. I meet all the requirements, or at least i will by next summer. However, I live in NC. Can I still get a job up there? and also, it said the training usually is one day a week for 16 weeks. Are there classes that just last like a week? Tire has a indent line very small?

I went to mcdonalds today through the drive through and it was very narrow. I bumped the curb and felt it bump barely. However now there is a small indent on the tire that follows the lines of the side wall, is it dangerous to drive on this? I just got these new tires and really hope this one is not damaged, it's not super noticable but if you look at the tire close you can see a line going from the edge of the rim to the edge of the tire. It's not irregular shaped, or pushing outward just a slight inward groove. Anyone with some expertise on this? How much would it cost to repair? Can it be repaired?

Cement sheets in the bedroom wall - any ideas?

hi my daughters room has cement sheeting (panels) that make up her walls and roof and it looks really bad. Renovating basement, keep original studs or do this instead?

I don't have time to watch this episode right now, but I assume that they got rid of the moisture first, and then put in the polystyrene. I would not put anything new up until the problem is fixed. Polystyrene will help since it is not affected by water, but if moisture gets into the house it is going to give you problems. If your original studs are right up next to the exterior wall then it would be best if you could put the foam behind it and get rid of heat transfer from the concrete and wood. I would also use a treated base plate for your wall that will further protect you (I'm sure Tom did that too--it's usually code). I just don't want you to have all new walls completed the way the show states and still have moisture problems. If you can't get rid of the water problem yourself by inspecting eave troughs and downspouts above to make sure water flows away from the foundation, making sure all landscaping next to the house slopes away for water run off. purchasing a dehumidifier for the basement that will help if inadequate duct work is installed in the area (like I just had to do when I found mold beginning to grow in the corner of a basement room where water was seeping down through the wall because my down spout was not fastened correctly and the room has no air circulation--thus the stagnant odor that many basements will have).

Can military service permanately destroy a man's chance of dating, settling down, and marrying?

I feel that, based upon my own personal experience, that the answer to this question would be a resounding yes. However, I would like others' opinions on this as well. Specifically, I am referring to men who enlist in the military directly upon high school graduation. Based upon my observations, it seems that most men (and women) go to college directly after high school and do not have to join the armed forces like I did. Moreover, it seems to me that 85 to 90% of college students are "traditional" aged students who graduate no later than 23 years old and are usually married no later than age 26. There is a HUGE misperception among Americans that 99% of American citizens support our active duty military personnel. That couldn't be further from the truth as I know for a fact that military personnel are viewed with downright contempt in southeast VA and eastern NC. This creates an atmosphere that is counterproductive with regards to dating for Marines and sailors stationed in places like this because all of the single women are outside Norfolk, VA and Jax, NC where servicemen and women are not welcome. The only guys who got married while I was on active duty were guys from smaller towns in the midwest and the southeast who ended up marrying their hometown sweethearts. I got out of the service and proceeded to go directly into the workforce. My workplace shut down and I became one of those student veterans that is using the GI Bill. I currently live in CO's second largest "city" and it is impossible to date here unless you were pretty much born and raised here as the town that I live in is very cliquey to say the least. I am originally from a larger city in the southeast and know that I am moving back there when I finally graduate from college here. I don't want to move back to the same city in which I was born in. With that said, do any of you all know of some good LARGER cities in the southeast that I could move to where I wouldn't be looked upon as strange and/or gay since I am now in my very early 30s, am not married, and have no children? Hi I’m 16 years old, My girlfriend is 17, and we think that she might be pregnant. We do not know what to do if she is because she is absolutely opposed to getting an abortion and absolutely refuses, but if she doesn't, both my parents and her parents are going to kill us.
