Need help with kawasaki bayou 220?

the gear shifting pedal on my 4 wheeler has stripped off the rod coming out of the trans. all of the grooves have been worn smooth. would anyone know how much it would cost to have the transmission taken apart to have the rod replaced? and a new pedal? thanks for any help.
