Does a tattoo of vertical initials fit well on the ribs?

Before you ask, these initials are in memoriam, not about a relationship. The initials would be in Celtic font to pay homage to our purely Irish roots, and there would be three letters on each side of my rib cage going vertically. Pain is not an issue, I'm just asking if it would fit well (both literally and in aesthetics) on a fit male.
