Which OS should this GAMER to be get?

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit right now and I am very impressed. I have never had an issue with old/new software with this machine. I never even have to use the XP mode. But I have noticed a loss of speed switching from 32-bit to 64-bit, which doesn't make any sense.
