How do you take care of mole crabs?(aka-sand crabs)?

i accidentally brought home a mole crab from NC in a jar a sand i took as a souvenir. I really don't wanna kill the poor thing but i have no idea what to do with it. what do i feed it and is there a pet store that might take it off my hands?
